Rules and Regulations

The rules and regulations are maintained by the forum staff. They may be amended as fit at any time without notice. In most cases, moderators and administrators will ask for community input before amending the rules and regulations. It is at the discretion of the moderation team and administration to enforce them. For a better experience at Rakion.org, we recommend you act in accordance with the rules and regulations below.

I. Posting Conduct

Objectionable Content

Pornography in any form and kind (including softcore pornography) is not permitted. Images of a pornographic nature will be removed, and topics including or encouraging such images will be closed. This is a bannable offense.

Offensive content (posts that are sexist, racist, graphically violent, discriminatory against lifestyle choices and/or of excessively bad taste) will be removed.

NO Pornography

Whether it is a hard porn or soft porn, as long as it is a pornography, the forums will not welcome them. All pictures or threads that break this rule will deleted or closed. Signatures or Avatars, found breaking this rule, will be removed as well. Be aware that your right to have an avatar or signature may be taken away from you. The highest level of punishment will be the banning of a user.

NO Offensive Content

If your pictures/ posts seem to be offending other members, your images/ posts will be removed. Likewise, if no one complains about your images/ posts you may be allowed to have them around. This rule is to make sure you don't have images that insult one's culture/religion/nationality/etc.

Suggestions:

Do NOT send PMs or emails to members requesting files/ROMs/games/etc.

Do not post your email address and ask people to email you any files or anything, and do not post your email/website that would contain any illegal files.

Links to hacking sources, ROMs, or anything in relation to or potentially considered piracy are forbidden in this message board.

If a thread sparks a different question in your mind that isn't 100% related to the main topic, start a new thread and ask.

Any trolling or attempts to start a flame war, no matter how subtle will NOT be tolerated. (This includes any disrespect for other members of the board, no matter how minor; and any attempts to change the subject in a direction unrelated to what it was originally intended for.)

Threads concerning an interest in a product or software offer no value to the forum. But if provided with sufficient information, leaving room for discussions, such a thread may warrant a worthiness of being posted, otherwise avoid posting such threads.

Duplicated/ similar threads are frowned upon. Do your research before posting. If you have done your research and still don't have the answer, let us know that and help avoid people quoting old threads back at you. Let us know exactly what it is that you haven't found in those old threads and what exactly you are looking for.

You don't have to post in every thread you see. If you can't be helpful, stay out and let others help. There is no need to spam to gain significance as a user.

If a mod has to delete/edit/close your posts more than a few times, chances are they make sure you won't post in this forum at all. You are entitled to either PM the mod; you assume is closing the threads, or PM a mod that may discuss this with overall moderating team. In such a situation, you are suggested to strongly think over what you may post and make sure such a post is worthy of staying open.
(The PM option is also the only mean accepted to complain about a closed/ deleted/ edited thread. Do not posts actual threads complaining or expressing hints of such ruling)

2. NO posting of link(s) that are linked to website that contain adware, spyware or website that may endanger the security of one's pc.
3. NO link(s) to site(s) that contain(s) key logging software or any deceptive method to assist in hacking.
4. NO posting of other fansite/forum link that is related to Rakion
5. NO multi-posting, use the edit button. If you happen to accidentally press submit two times, It's okay; other then that, we will see
6. NO attempts to start a flame war
7. NO aggressive use of foul words
8. NO posting of offending or illegal images/ text allowed

III. Signature/ Image/ Graphics Rules

1. Maximum of 4 lines of text is allowed. Modification of the text to the size of 'large' or 'largest' is not allowed
2. Maximum of ONE image (gif/jpeg/png)
3. Maximum size of image can not exceed 40KB
4. NO offending/illegal text
5. NO referral URLs of any kind*
6. NO Pornographic website's link(s)
7. NO link(s) that linked to website that contain adware, spyware or website that may cause the security of one's pc at risk
8. NO link(s) to site(s) that contain(s) key logger or any attempt to hack

IMAGE WIDTH IS ADVISED TO NOT EXCEED 600 PIXELS. THERE IS NO NEED TO STRETCH THE PAGE.
